Vietnam welcome nearly 1.3 million international visitors in September, according to the latest report from the General Statistics Office (GSO).

Nearly 3.7 million foreign tourists travelled to Vietnam in the first four months of 2023, accordiing to Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT).

According to report of ASEAN Stats on September 17, Vietnam is the fourth most popular destination among tourists from outside ASEAN, after Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.

Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand have agreed to work together for a double-digit increase in the number of foreign tourists by 2015 under the theme "Five Countries - One Destination".
